PLN Finds The Use Of Unordered And Dangerous Electricity
JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) found a number of electricity usage in residents' houses that were not orderly. So it must involve the police when controlling the use of electricity (P2TL) in Blitar Regency, East Java.
The manager of PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Kediri, Leandra Agung said that during P2TL activities in the Blitar area, it was found that there were many findings, including the magnification of the kwh barrier, direct continued, moving meters, damaging cables and meters so that electricity was not measured that could potentially be dangerous.
"The findings obtained by officers in the field are quite large and very dangerous for the security of the community itself, for example, the increase in illegal power can potentially catch fire because it is not in accordance with the kWh meter capacity, besides that from other findings we get the meter damaged and affects meter measurements, in the end the state is harmed because the payment is not appropriate," said Leandra quoting Antara.
He emphasized that the control of the use of electrical power (P2TL), including Blitar Regency, was based on the potential for electrical hazards arising from non-standard installations, maintaining safety and safety of electricity in customers' homes to securing state revenues.
In carrying out P2TL which is transparent and in accordance with the rules, he said, PLN cooperates with the police to provide assistance. Likewise, in determining fines or follow-up bills, everything has been regulated in the Board of Directors of PT PLN (Persero) No. 088-Z.P/DIR/2016.
"So in determining this follow-up bill, it is not done manually, it is automatic according to the calculation system and according to the board of directors' regulations, so it is not a trick," he said.
He also asked customers who objected to being able to file a written objection and addressed to the office.
"Our activities have SOPs. We also invite customers who object to being able to defend the implementation or determination of P2TL sanctions to file a written objection," said Leandra.
PLN also urges people who want to apply for the PLN service process to be carried out through PLN Mobile or Call Center 123, to avoid dealing with brokers or individuals on behalf of PLN.
For all costs incurred due to PLN services, he added, it can be paid officially through official bank payments or counters.
Meanwhile, the Head of Kaulon Village, Sutojayan Blitar Jais, appealed to the public to be careful of individuals on behalf of PLN, because it was alleged that the findings obtained by PLN when conducting P2TL were carried out by irresponsible persons for personal gain.
"There are parties outside PLN who are incompetent and irresponsible by offering additional illegal power, moving meters without PLN's permission, so that people are subject to controlling the use of PLN's electricity. If there are matters related to PLN, please report via PLN mobile or come directly to the nearest PLN office," said Jais.
