Responding To The Meeting Of Democrats And Golkar, PKS Calls Airlangga Very Likely To Be Anies' Vice Presidential Candidate

JAKARTA - The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) responded to the visit of Golkar Party Chairman Airlangga Hartarto to the residence of Chairman of the Democratic Party High Council Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) in Cikeas, West Java, last weekend.PKS said it was possible that Golkar would join the Coalition for Change for Unity (KPP) to support Anies Baswedan's candidacy. In fact, Airlangga has the potential to become an Anies vice presidential candidate."It is very possible. However, in a long position of discussion, the name politics is very dynamic and developing. Who is with whom depends on the approach and the latest political situation," said PKS Secretary General Habib Aboe Bakar Al Habsyi, at the PKS DPP Office, Jakarta, Monday, May 1.Aboe considered the meeting to be a positive thing. Because according to him, national gathering is something good."It is the right of all the nation's children and parties, to find common ground for dialogue to think about the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia so that everyone has the best share, especially to Mr. SBY, our president for two terms," he said.Nevertheless, Aboe emphasized that the meeting between Airlangga and SBY would not change the constellation of the coalition that already exists. According to him, the Democrats will remain in the ranks of the Change Coalition with PKS and NasDem. "No, the coalition is neat and good. The three of us are solid," he said.Aboe hopes that Golkar can join the Coalition for Change. "God willing, I hope Pak Airlangga will add more, now that's even better, better," said Aboe.
