7 Psychologists Deployed By The Ministry Of Social Affairs To Refugee Locations For Indonesian Citizens From Sudan At The East Jakarta Hajj Dormitory

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Social Affairs provides psychological services to Indonesian refugees among children who have been evacuated from Sudan. They were placed in the Hajj Dormitory refugee location, Pondok Gede, East Jakarta.

"Three towers have been prepared which are divided into 1 tower for the family, 1 tower for single men, 1 tower for single women. And 1 additional building for Indonesian citizens who are sick," said Director of Social Protection for Non-Social Disaster Victims of the Ministry of Social Affairs (PSKBNA), Mira Riyati in a statement received by VOI, Friday, April 28.

In addition, the Ministry of Social Affairs has also prepared 7 psychologists to provide psychosocial support services.

"One tent is for children's playgrounds, another tent is for health posts from the Ministry of Health," he said.

Previously, it was reported that 385 Indonesian citizens (WNI) in batch 1 had arrived using Garuda GA991 aircraft at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Cengkareng, Tangerang on Friday, April 28.

Of these, there are 248 women and 137 men. They will receive evacuation and social protection services from the Ministry of Social Affairs.
