71st Anniversary of Kopassus, KSAD General Dudung: Maintain Operational Readiness, Always Present in the Middle of Community Difficulties
JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) Gen. Dudung Abdurachman hopes that the Special Forces Command (Kopassus) will always maintain readiness and professionalism, and will always be present in the midst of society by providing solutions and having an impact on welfare, in his message during the celebration of the 71st anniversary Kopassus, Monday.
The ceremony for the 71st anniversary of Kopassus this time with the theme 'My Kopassus, Our Kopassus, Patriot of the Republic of Indonesia for Indonesia' was held at Makopassus, Cijantung, East Jakarta, with the Commander of the Ceremony Col.
"As Kasad, I express my sincere gratitude and highest appreciation for the dedication and best dedication of all soldiers, making Kopassus respected and respected," said the KSAD in a message read by the Kopassus Danjen Major General TNI Iwan Setiawan as the Inspector of Ceremonies, Monday, April 17.
The KSAD further said, through the momentum of the anniversary this time, I invite the Kopassus extended family to remember again, the success achieved cannot be separated from the pioneers of the Kopassus elders and predecessors.
"For Kopassus soldiers, I want to emphasize that they always maintain high operational readiness and unit preparedness as a form of professionalism of specially formed soldiers and units above the capabilities of ordinary soldiers and units," said Kasad.
"Kopassus was formed and trained to become militant, professional and adaptive soldiers based on morality and loyalty," said Army Chief of Staff General Dudung.
He added, with the greatness of the name and proud achievements, don't let Kopassus soldiers fall asleep. The greatness of Kopassus has made many countries respect and want to learn.
