Inspired By The Mother, Romy Invites Fans To Enjoy Life In New Songs

JAKARTA - Following the phenomenal success of the previous two solo singles; Strong and Lifetime, Romy from The xx returns with a new song that inspires, Enjoy Your Life.

This single features the voice of Beverly Glenn-Copeland, and is produced by Fred Again.., Stuart Price and Jamie xx.

Enjoy Your Life will be part of Romy's upcoming solo album, Mid-Air, which will be released in September this year.

Romy introduced Enjoy Your Life as a hit disco euphoria reminiscent of his mother's words.

The song was inspired by a special night when pop icon Robyn invited Romy to see the American-Canadian singer and songwriter, Beverly Glenn-Copeland, who performed in Stockholm.

Despite all his performances surprising him, one line of one song specifically stunned Romy: "My mother said to me 'enjoy your life'" from Glenn-Copeland's "La Vita", Romy said in his official statement.

The sentence was very touching for Romy, a singer, songwriter, and DJ. The mother died when she was only eleven years old.

Romy has big summer plans this year, including his solo live debut at Coachella, Fuji Rock Festival and international tours.
