PGN Ready To Salurkan 987 BBTUD Gas Bumi In 73 Districts Or Cities Throughout Eid

JAKARTA - PT PGN Tbk (PGAS) ensures that national natural gas distribution and services remain safe during Eid al-Fitr 1444 H in 2023.

So far, natural gas distribution activities to customers are in a safe condition in Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Eastern Indonesia.

PGN Director of Sales and Operations Faris Aziz said that the distribution of natural gas to customers was 987 BBTUD. As for gas supply, PGN prepared a supply of 1,029 BBTUD.

PGN distributed gas from 29 Working Areas consisting of 24 KKKS to 2,504 Commercial and Industrial Customers, 1,926 Small Customers, 836,683 RumaH Connections (SR), and 9 Power Plants PLN Group. The infrastructure that is actively used is 25,850 Km of gas pipeline networks, 13 SPBG, 4 MRU, and 3 LNG Terminals maintained reliable and safe.

During Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, PGN ensures that operational activities and natural gas consumers are well served. Towards Eid, demand in several industries allows it to tend to decline. Our job is to maintain services to active customers," Fariz explained to the media, Thursday, April 13.

Faris continued, activities ranging from the transportation of gas, distribution of BBG, distribution of gas to households and PLN Group, LNG storage, and transportation of crude oil are currently safe.

Gas distribution in PLN Group for electricity security for the community is quite large, namely 232 BBTUD, so that it is also the main concern of PGN. Then the transportation of crude oil was 171,767 BOPD, the distribution of BBG was 18,279 LSP (Liter Setara Premium), and gas transportation was 2,633 MMSCFD. In addition to the South Sumatra West Java Transmission Pipeline (SSWJ) managed by PGN, this gas transportation involved Subsidiaries/Affiliates namely Pertagas, Indonesian Gas Transportation (TGI), and Kalimantan Java Gas (KJG).

On the other hand, LNG distribution security is also carried out by subsidiaries/affiliates such as PGN LNG Indonesia (PLI) which manages FSRU Lampung, Nusantara Regas (NR), and Perta Arun Gas (PAG).

"We also protect household gas services, currently they are scattered in jargas distribution in 17 Regencies/cities. In the retail sector and MSMEs that use CNG, the number is increasing so that it must be a concern so that gas distribution does not interfere," added Faris.
