NTB Prosecutor's Office Opens Fourth Suspect Opportunities In East Lombok Iron Sand Mining Corruption Case
NTB - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) opens up the opportunity for the fourth suspect in the alleged corruption case of the Dedalpak Block iron sand mine, East Lombok.
"It could be the next week or more. Just wait for the game date," said NTB Attorney General Ibrahim Soleh in Mataram, NTB, Thursday, April 13, as reported by Antara.
Ibrahim did not elaborate further on the identity of the fourth suspect. For sure, he said, the investigation of this mining case is still growing.
"So, we'll see the next wave," he said.
In this case, the prosecutor's office has named three suspects, namely the former Head of the NTB ESDM Service Zainal Abidin, and 2 private elements of the Branch Head of PT Anugrah Mitra Graha (AMG) with the initials RA and the Director of PT AMG from Jakarta with the initials PSW.
Investigators named PSW as a suspect after undergoing examination in Jakarta, Thursday, April 13 morning. Investigators conducted an examination in Jakarta because PSW had been absent three times from calls.
After the examination, investigators immediately named PSW as a suspect and brought him to Mataram.
PSW came from Jakarta escorted by the prosecutor's team and the police wearing a red vest that reads Corruption Prisoners.
Arriving at around 15.00 WITA at the NTB Prosecutor's Office Building, PSW with handcuffs on his hands was immediately brought to the prosecutor's room in the special field of crime. After the examination, the suspect PSW continued the detention process at the Mataram Class IIA Prison.

Kajati NTB revealed the role of PSW. As Director of PT AMG, Nanang said that PSW enjoyed all the benefits of mining products.
By revealing the role of PSW, Nanang also added that the state losses that arise from PT AMG's activities carry out mining at the Dedalpak Block without the approval of the annual work plan and budget (RKAB) from the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources took place in the period 2021 to 2022.
However, Nanang has not been able to confirm the number of losses. Instead, he assured that this was still waiting for the results of the audit team of the NTB Representative Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).
In this case, PT AMG was revealed to have the legality of an iron sand mining permit on an area of 1,348 hectares. The permit is valid for 15 years from 2011 to 2026.
The permit was issued based on the Decree of the Regent of East Lombok Number: 2821/503/PPT.II/2011 concerning Approval to Improve Mining Business Permits (IUP) Exploration to IUP for Production of Iron Sand and Mineral Followers in the Dedalpak Block which is included in the Pringgabaya District and Labuhan Haji District, East Lombok Regency.
