Firm! Indonesia Condemns The Violence Of Israeli Officials In Al Aqsa
JAKARTA - The government stated that Indonesia condemned the acts of violence perpetrated by Israeli security forces at the Al Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan, and called on the international community to take steps to resolve the conflict.
"Indonesia condemns the acts of violence by Israeli security forces at the Al Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan which resulted in a number of worshipers being injured and the arrest of hundreds of other people," said a statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs via its official Twitter account quoted on Saturday, April 8.
The Indonesian government and people view violence by Israel as an act that really hurts the feelings of the Muslim community in the world and a real violation of the sanctity of Al Aqsa.
In addition, the actions of the Israeli security forces could trigger an escalation of conflict and violence, explained the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
For this reason, the Government of Indonesia urges the United Nations (UN) and the international community to immediately take concrete steps to stop and end the various Israeli violations against Al Aqsa.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Embassy in Indonesia also strongly condemned the brutal attack by Israeli authorities on worshipers at the Al Aqsa Mosque.

"Israeli troops illegally invaded Al Aqsa Mosque, barbarously attacked men, women and children, detained more than 500 people illegally," said the Palestinian Embassy in a statement in Jakarta, Friday, April 7, quoted from ANTARA.
The Israeli occupation forces also blocked ambulances from treating hundreds of injured people, causing damage to Al Aqsa Mosque, including starting a fire at one location.
Palestine reiterated that Israel does not have any sovereignty over any part of the Al Aqsa Mosque Complex, the Palestinian Embassy said.
The embassy explained that the Palestinian Jamaat has the absolute right to pray freely and safely in and around the Al Aqsa compound at any time, without obstruction or violence.
Israel's aggression against the Al Aqsa Mosque Complex is a horrific attack on the basic right of Palestinians to worship freely in its holy place, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
