Bruno Fernandes Differences Opinions With Cristiano Ronaldo About The Situation Of The Portugal National Team, Breaking Up Conceptions?
JAKARTA - Portugal's national team player, Bruno Fernandes, has a different view from the captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, regarding the current team situation.
Cristiano Ronaldo said there was a breath of fresh air in the team after Roberto Martinez's presence as a coach. He also mentioned, there are different ideas and mentalitys in A Selecao's body.
The comments came after Portugal won two Euro 2024 qualifying matches. After beating Leichtenstein 4-0, they then won 6-0 over Luxembourg.
Ronaldo scored four goals in those two matches. The Al Nassr player each scored two goals per game.
Interestingly, a different view was conveyed by Bruno Fernandes. Ronaldo's former partner at Manchester united saw that there was no fresh air in A Selecao's body.
"No, it's just a new coach with new ideas," he told RTP3. "There's no fresh air at all. It's just a transition period."
"The atmosphere in the national team is always good. There's never been anything fresh, so I think it's just a new dynamic, a new coach, and you have to customize the ideas," continued the former Benfica player.
This condition has again raised an old issue related to the rift in Ronaldo's relationship with Fernandes. The two reportedly broke up a partnership after CR7 decided to dismantle the dilapidated MU in an interview with Piers Morgan.
At that time, Fernandes was reportedly not happy with his compatriot method. The cold atmosphere was felt when the two of them appeared to defend the Portugal national team at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
This news was denied by both of them. However, the issue related to the rift between the two is still blowing.
