Julian Nagelsmann Unemployed, Tottenham Hotspur Intends To Bring UK To Replace Conte

JAKARTA - English League club Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly interested in bringing Julian Nagelsmann as head coach following Antonio Conte's future is now becoming increasingly unclear.

Sky Sports reports that Conte's situation with Tottenham Hotspur is now full of uncertainty and the Italian coach's contract will expire this summer.

Some believe Tottenham will choose to fire Conte before the international break ends and the club's top brass want Nagelsmann as his successor.

Actually, Tottenham Hotspur had a desire to secure Thomas Tuchel's services, but in the end the German coach was first picked up by Bayern Munich.

However, some believe Nagelsmann will not immediately accept a coaching offer as he still needs little time to reflect following Bayern Munich's dismissal.

In addition to glancing at Nagelsmann, it is reported that Tottenham has monitored several potential names to replace Conte when his contract expires next June.

However, Conte's controversial press conference last week prompted the club to speed up plans to replace the Italian coach.

Some of the names believed to be liked by club owners Daniel Levy include Marco Silva, Roberto De Zerbi, Sergio Conceicao, Thomas Frank and Vincent Kompany.

However, it is reported that Antonio Conte still wants to bring Tottenham Hotspur to end the Premier League this season in the top four and will only think about his future in London when the competition is over.

Currently Tottenham Hotspur are in fourth place in the Premier League standings with 49 points from 28 matches, two points clear of Newcastle United in fifth place.

Furthermore, Tottenham Hotspur will play the 29th week of the Premier League against Everton at Goodison Park Stadium, Liverpool, Monday night local time.
