The Ministry Of Religion Of Lampung Ensures That There Are No Restrictions On Tarawih Prayers In Congregation At The Mosque
BANDARLAMPUNG - The Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion (Kanwil Kemenag) Lampung said that there were no restrictions on pilgrims for the implementation of Tarawih Prayers during the holy month of Ramadan 1444 Hijriah.
"So far there is no longer a policy for restrictions on the implementation of Tarawih Prayers in the holy month of Ramadan, so Muslims can carry it out normally," said Head of the Lampung Ministry of Religion Regional Office Puji Raharjo, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, March 20.
However, he said, people who want to carry out Tarawih prayers in congregation in the mosque must still pay attention to their respective health.
"Yes, this health is also important to pay attention to. Whether there is a pandemic or not, health must be maintained," he also said.
Then, he said again, for the beginning of the Tarawih Prayer, of course, the public must wait for the isbat session which will be held nationally in the near future.
"In Lampung, monitoring the hilal for the beginning of Ramadan is carried out in two places, namely Itera and Canti Beach, South Lampung Regency," he also said.
The Head of Regional Office of the Lampung Ministry of Religion appealed to Muslims to make this momentum for Ramadan to improve the quality of faith and piety.
"I invite all people to increase worship in Ramadan starting from fasting, then also preaching and learning religion, then social awareness is also increased and sharing with the smallest scope," he said again.
General Chairperson of the Al Furqon Grand Mosque, Bandarlampung Bukhari Muslim, revealed that there are no restrictions on Tarawih Prayers.
"At Al Furqon Mosque, Tarawih Prayers have returned to normal considering the situation is relatively normal. But pilgrims also have to maintain cleanliness and health, if they are sick or not fit, they should just pray at home," he said again.
