PLN Absorbs Nearly IDR 245 Trillion Domestic Products Throughout 2022

JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) has succeeded in absorbing domestic products of up to Rp244.5 trillion or 70.41 percent of the company's budget throughout 2022. This company's achievement will continue to grow in accordance with the direction of Indonesian President Joko Widodo, who continues to encourage ministries, institutions and SOEs, to continue to increase domestic spending.

PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo is committed to continuing to increase domestic spending. This is because this is in line with the target of increasing TKDN which continues to grow in PLN.

"We fully support and are ready to carry out President Joko Widodo's directives to continue to increase the absorption of local products. We will continue to carry out various efforts to be able to absorb domestic products," Darmawan said in a press release, Saturday, March 18.

Darmawan said, to increase TKDN, his party is also targeting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs),

"Talking about MSMEs itself, thank God we are still increasing it, from our expenditure it has reached Rp12.9 trillion and more than 6,600 MSMEs involved," he said.

In addition, said Darmawan, his party also opens opportunities for cooperation and development efforts to be able to continue to improve TKDN. PLN also encourages domestic industries to improve the quality of their products, especially in terms of electricity infrastructure components.

"Then, of course, how do we collaborate with stakeholders between SOEs, the private sector, and the government. I am sure, in the future our PDN and TKDN spending can improve even better," he added.

As for 2022, PLN noted, the company's domestic product expenditure (PDN) reached 70.41 percent or Rp244.5 trillion of the total Rp349.8 trillion.

In addition, the implementation of TKDN in electricity infrastructure projects, which includes generators, transmissions, substations, and distributions in 2022, has reached 48.51 percent or equivalent to IDR 12.78 trillion.
