"Currently, 28 witnesses have been questioned by investigators at the Nabire Police Satreskrim," said Benny to ANTARA, in Jayapura, Friday, March 17. He said the police were trying to uncover the motive and cause of death of the pulmonary specialist who was owned by the Nabire Hospital. Investigators, he explained, have examined witnesses and are still waiting for medical results to be combined with the results of the investigation by the Nabire Police Criminal Investigation Team and evidence obtained at the TKP.. "The community is asked to remain patiently waiting for the results of the investigation carried out by members and do not build an opinion that can disrupt the security and social order in Nabire," said Benny. Separately, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Nabire Police AKP Akhmad Alfian said that from the results of the post-mortem that were found several bruises on the victim's body, such as on the face, neck, and stomach so that his death was considered unreasonable.

The findings, he said, are currently being investigated to reveal the cause of death of the victim because the deceased did not have a track record of the disease.
