Menpan RB: 2023 CPNS Test Focus On Formation Of Health Workers And Educators

JAKARTA - Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas revealed that the process of selecting prospective civil servants (CPNS) and Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) 2023 is focused on formation of health workers (nakes) and educators. "The direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia for education and health personnel will be a priority that must be completed by the Kemenpan RB. In 2022, 700 thousand formations have been prepared but only absorbed by 400 thousand regions so that we will reopen it in 2023," he said in Bengkulu City, Friday, March 17, was confiscated by Antara. With the implementation of the CPNS and PPPK tests for the two formations, he said, can be completed together by the central and regional governments. Then, he said, for the formation of PPPK in the regions, it must be re-discussed by the governor and members of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) so that it can be met according to regional needs and community expectations. Regarding the budget for Government Employees with a Work Agreement (PPPK) 2023 comes from the State Revenue Budget (APBN) and Regional Revenue Budget (APBD).

"The PPPK payroll budget will share between the central and regional governments. Although there are some regions that do not propose optimally due to budget constraints," he said.

Meanwhile, the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bengkulu Province, Hamka Sabri, said that this area did not carry out the 2023 CPNS and PPPK tests. This, he explained, was due to the use of the 2023 APBD for the expenditure of Bengkulu Province employees in 2023. "The use of the 2023 APBD for Bengkulu Provincial employees expenditure has reached 40 percent and according to the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) the ideal use of the APBD is 30 percent," he said. Therefore, he said, this year CPNS and PPPK tests in Bengkulu Province cannot be carried out even though the government needs teachers, health and others. However, he said, if the central government provides additional personnel expenditure budget for Bengkulu Province, the implementation of CPNS and PPPK 2023 tests will be carried out.
