Ekrig Disbursed Tips So That The Band Can Profit Apart From Music Platforms

JAKARTA - Apart from being known as a member of the Avhath metal band, Ekrig has also worked as a manager at one of the record labels in Indonesia. With his experience, Ekrig shared some tips for musicians or bands to benefit apart from music platforms.

Through the Tenacious Grid YouTube channel some time ago, Ekrig explained, the first effort that a band or musician should make is to find a business partner that fits their work.

"The way, yes, be smart in selling your work. Like looking for business partners, for example. So, if you want to be described, first, take one title of our song, then make a deck consisting of what this song is, what the campaign is about, what the concept of the event will be, how the promotion plan will be, then we think about what brand fits this song, after that, start offering it to the brand," he explained.

By doing these various ways, according to Ekrig, the benefits obtained are not only about money, but also exposure.

"All the benefits don't have to be about money, it can also be from exposure. This is because actually if I am private at Avhath, I don't expect money from the music platform because we know the income is small. But, from there, it can be seen how many people listen to our work. And it all depends on how our marketing plan came back. It can't be denied because now is the digital era," he added.

Ekrig suggested, if the band or musician had little experience in that, they could find the right business manager.

"Kalau kita tidak tahu cara marketing-nya ya berarti mencari business manager yang tepat. Dan itu pun enggak harus dibayar kok, bisa juga cara lain seperti berbagai persenan jika berhasil mendapatkan brand itu," tutupnya.
