Radja Concert Organizers In Malaysia Call The Threat Of Murder A Misunderstanding
JAKARTA - Mimosa Events & Entertainment as the organizer who held the Radja concert in Johor, Malaysia on Saturday, March 11, 2023 yesterday provided clarification regarding the threat of murder against Ian Kasela and other personnel.
Through the MEE2 Events Instagram account, the organizers uploaded a letter in Malaysian. Adversity of the Media: Incident of Salah Faham Antara Penganjur Concert, Mimosa Events & Entertainment and the Radja Collection," the title of the letter read, quoted on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
In his letter, the Malaysian organizer said what happened was a misunderstanding. Furthermore, the organizers who knew that Radja had made a police report stated that what Ian Kasela et al said in the report did not describe the actual incident.
"Mimosa Events & Entertainment as the organizer of the Matchistic Johor Concert Radja Live in Johor 2023 program is aware of the news that is being discussed," opened the contents of the letter from Mimosa Events & Entertainment.
"In connection with that, we convey that there has been a misunderstanding regarding commercial and operational commitments during the event. Initially the event went smoothly and under control, but after that there was a misunderstanding involving the organizers with the Radja band," he continued.
Ian Kasela himself as the group frontman said that he and other personnel had reported the incident to the police in Malaysia.
Upon his return to Indonesia, Ian together with Moldy and Seno also visited the National Police Headquarters on Monday, March 13, 2023 to complain about the problems they had. They are also advised to inform Interpol about what happened in Indonesia.
Ian Kasela, in his confession after experiencing death threats, said he was traumatized and reluctant to return to performing in the neighboring country.
"We are very traumatized, that's why we have an agenda for the fasting month in April in Kuala Lumpur, we discussed it first," said Ian Kasela at the National Police Headquarters.
"The offer was a lot of Kuala Lumpur, Johor, I was afraid I would say that after this incident, I was afraid," concluded Seno, another Radja personnel.
