Proses Pemilu 2024, KPU Sebut Saat Ini Tengah Penyusunan Daftar Pemilih Sementara

The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia continues the 2024 General Election stage by preparing a temporary voter list (DPS) which is carried out in stages, starting from sub-districts, sub-districts, districts/cities, to nationally.

"Now the preparation of the DPS draft, determined to be tiered later from the kelurahan, kelurahan (to) sub-districts, sub-districts to regencies/cities is set April 4-5, only to the national level," said KPU RI Commissioner Betty Epsilon Idroos as quoted by ANTARA Tuesday, March 14.

Betty conveyed this after witnessing firsthand the matching and research process (coklit) of the voter data of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo by officials from the Voter Data Update Committee (Panterlih) Gambir Village, Central Jakarta.

According to Betty, his party will then analyze various aspects of voter data after determining the DPS at the district/city level.

"I will doubly analyze related to double data, invalid data, the same anomalous data, everything is done," he said.

Betty added that his party will also conduct an analysis of double voter data between regencies/cities and interprovinces on March 24, 2023.

Furthermore, added Betty, the recapitulation of the temporary voter list nationally will be carried out about two days before Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriyah.

When referring to the estimation of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriyah in the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform regarding National Holidays and Joint Leave in 2023, which temporarily stipulates the Idul Fitri national holiday to fall on April 22-23, the recapitulation process will be carried out on April 20, 2023.

"Two days before Eid, we recap. Get ready and don't go home," said Betty.

On an earlier occasion, the Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Hasyim Asy'ari said that the pantarih officers are currently working to match and research (coklit) data as many as 204,559,713 voters in the 2024 General Election.

"The data used as the basis for updating voter data is currently recorded at 204,559,713 voters," said Hasyim at the Merdeka Palace.

Based on the program and schedule for the preparation of the 2024 Election voter list in KPU Regulation Number 7 of 2022, after the preparation of the DPS, the DPS will be prepared for the DPS Improvement Results (DPSP) on May 1 to June 18, 2023.

Then the preparation of the final voter list (DPT) is carried out with a schedule of June 19 to June 21, 2023, before the recapitulation and announcement of the DPT is scheduled for June 22, 2023 to February 14, 2024.
