Kantong Nama 134 Pegawai Pajak Punya Saham Atas Nama Istri, Jubir Kemenkeu: Sedang Kami Penalisian

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance (Minister of Finance) Yustinus Prastowo revealed that his party had pocketed the names of 134 employees of the Directorate General of Taxes (Directorate General of Taxes) who owned shares in a closed company on behalf of their wives.

Yustinus explained that the intention of a closed company is a company that is not listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

"Itjen sudah menerima ( nama pegawai) hari Jumat siang kemarin, sedang kami analisis saat ini," ujar Yustinus kepada media, Senin, 13 Maret.

He said that his party was ensuring the suitability of the names and businesses they had, because there was no prohibition in the law stating that the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) should not have a side business.

"We also have to be careful here because according to the rules there is no real ban. Civil servants do business, the important thing is to inform and report and also to maintain no conflict of interest and abuse of power," explained Yustinus.

He emphasized that ASN may run various types of businesses other than being employees of the Ministry of Finance as long as they report their business to their direct superiors.

Previously, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) sent a letter to the Ministry of Finance on Friday, March 10.

They conveyed the names of 134 employees of the Directorate General of Taxes who were allegedly owned shares in 280 companies.

"We convey today with my letter to the Inspector General (Inspector General of the Ministry of Finance Nurmawan Nuh) 134 names of tax workers who own shares in 280 closed companies," said KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Pahala Nainggolan to reporters, Friday, March 10.

"This is a form of cooperation between the KPK and the Ministry of Finance in say the program to clean tax elements that we call not to behave properly," he continued.

Hundreds of these people are suspected of owning shares in the name of their wives. So that the Ministry of Finance is expected that Pahala can follow up on the findings.
