Arsenal Won 100th Victory With Mikel Arteta, Unfortunately There Are No Titles Yet

JAKARTA - Arsenal won three points after winning 3-0 at home to Fulham in the 27th Premier League matchday at Craven Cottage, London, Sunday, March 12 evening WIB.

Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard scored three goals each. All goals in this match took place in the first half.

This victory made Arsenal return to the top of the standings with a difference of five points over Manchester City. Mikel Arteta's squad collected 66 points from 27 matches.

This victory is Arsenal's 100th under Mikel Arteta. It was Arteta's 168th game while leading the Gunners and making him the manager with the highest percentage of wins in the club's history.

But more importantly, this is Arsenal's 21st league win of the season from 27 games played and getting them closer to the stairs.

The manager was happy with the result, but he didn't want to be too happy. The reason is, this victory has not confirmed anything. The Premier League title is not yet in hand.

"Come here and appear against a team like Fulham at this stadium, I think the players deserve great credit. By the way we played, the goals we scored, clean sheet and determination and the goals we showed today to play as we wanted," said Arteta.

"It's amazing (winning 100 wins), we have to keep it that way, I'm happy to do it, unfortunately, it's not a title, so there's still a lot to improve!" he continued.

Seeing purely this season, Arteta's winning ratio with the Gunners was 73 percent. However, he prefers to give his team praise for the extraordinary consistency that has been shown so far this season.

"This is extraordinary and it means we have a lot of people doing the right thing at the club. In the team, many players have contributed greatly and especially the support we have, which I think has really changed this team with that energy, so I'm very happy," he concluded.
