Cheap But Not Cheap, Dacia Bigster Will Be As Tough As Two Old Brothers?

Have you ever heard of a Dacia car manufacturer? Dacia was founded in Romania in 1966, with the initial goal of providing modern, reliable, and affordable vehicles for Romanians. Dacia's name is taken from the name given by the Romans for the region now known as Romania.

Well, in 199 Renault took over Dacia marked a new era of affordable but quality vehicles. Only in 2004, Renault launched Logan, designed for the lower middle market for just 5,000 then.

Unexpectedly, this cheap Logan car revolutionized the automotive market and achieved commercial success, including in Western Europe. Logan is a modern and sturdy family sedan that is a revival for Lucia.

Furthermore, Dacia Sandero's best achievement will also be launched in 2028. In 2021, Dacia Sandero is the best-selling car in Europe followed by Volkswagen Golf. And reported by Autocar, March 8, until early 2023, Dacia Sandero is also still the best-selling car.

In 2025, Dacia will launch the Dacia Bigster which will be the biggest and most expensive model in the Dacia portfolio. The presence of the Dacia Bigster is believed to allow Dacia to better compete with competitors with similar positions (Skoda and Suzuki) who serve market targets with a wider range of models. Dacia Bigster is also designed as a formidable rival to Peugeot 5008 and Skolda Kodiaq.

The Bigster will be based on the same CMF platform as its classmate from Renault Group, Nissan X-Trail and Renault Austral. However, it is believed that image as an affordable car will still be maintained.
