JAKARTA - The National Awakening Party (PKB) responded casually to the moment of the familiarity of the Minister of Defense and General Chair of Gerindra, Prabowo Subianto and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo while accompanying President Joko Widodo to review the harvest in Kebumen, Central Java, yesterday.PKB assessed that there was nothing special about the portrait of Prabowo, Ganjar and Jokowi togetherness.According to PKB DPP Chairman Daniel Johan, as regional head it is normal for Ganjar to accompany Jokowi during a visit to Central Java. Even with Prabowo who is Jokowi's minister."So it's a normative thing," said Daniel Johan when confirmed, Friday, March 10.Regarding the 2024 presidential election, Daniel said, so far Prabowo, who is also the general chairman of Gerindra, has always been open with the General Chair of PKB, Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin if there is communication with political parties or other figures."Both Cak Imin, Pak Prabowo, both PKB and Gerindra must be open and establish communication with other parties," he said.Even though the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KKIR) formed by Gerindra and PKB has not yet determined the names of presidential and vice-presidential candidates, said Daniel, the two political parties are still solid. Moreover, both of them have inaugurated the Joint Secretariat (Sekber) for the 2024 General Election."This means that the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition is getting more solid, yes. The Secretary also continues to hold meetings to finalize the next vision, program, stages," said Daniel."But we don't close to being open and communicating with other coalitions and other parties," he added.
