The Ministry Of Religion And PIHK Agreed On A Minimum Special Hajj Fee 8,000 US Dollars
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religion and the Special Hajj Organizers (PIHK) have agreed on a minimum fee of US$8,000 or around Rp.123,491,600 for a special pilgrimage (Bipih).
"The coordination meeting between the Ministry of Religion and PIHK agreed that the Special Hajj Travel Expenses (Bipih) will remain at a minimum of USD 8,000," said Director of Umrah and Special Hajj Development at the Ministry of Religion Nur Arifin in a statement released by ANTARA, Thursday, March 9.
The amount of the special Hajj fee was determined after holding a Coordination Meeting for the Preparation of the Special Hajj Pilgrimage in Jakarta.
The meeting was attended by PIHK organizers such as the Indonesian Hajj Umrah Travel Tour Association (KESTHURI), the Muslim Association of Hajj and Umrah Organizers of the Republic of Indonesia (AMPHURI), to the Independent Affiliation for Hajj Umrah Organizations (AMPUH).
"The initial deposit was also agreed to be fixed at USD 4,000," said Nur.

Nur Arifin said that the agreed Bipih is the minimum fee paid by pilgrims to obtain special Hajj services. PIHK can provide a package price above that price.
"Hopefully in the future PIHK can improve services for God's guests as much as possible," he said.
Meanwhile, the Director General of PHU Hilman Latief said that the Ministry of Religion is currently preparing standard guidelines for organizing the Hajj. The preparation of these guidelines also solicits input from business actors regarding aspects that support the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem.
"We hope to work together with various related parties in organizing a special pilgrimage according to the theme of this year's Hajj, namely the Elderly Friendly Hajj," he said.
This Coordination Meeting for the Preparation of the Special Hajj Pilgrimage discussed various preparations for the implementation of the special Hajj, starting from the settlement stage, socialization of the financial return mechanism (PK) with the Siskopatuh application, Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2022 concerning Optimization of the Implementation of the JKN Program, to managing e-haj PIN activation and recom.
