Nani Wijaya's Condition Graduallys Well After Undergoing Intensive Care
JAKARTA - Since being rushed to the hospital due to shortness of breath last week, the condition of senior actress Nani Wijaya is currently gradually showing positive developments. Even so, the role of Emak Eti in the Bajaj Bajuri sitcom still has to undergo intensive treatment.
Nina Kartika, the daughter of the actress, said that her mother was still in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) room at Fatmawati Hospital.
"The update on the condition of the mother this morning (Tuesday, March 7) is still in the ICU," said Nina Kartika when contacted by VOI on Tuesday morning, March 7.
The child also explained that the condition of blood pressure and protein content in his mother's red blood cells (hemoglobin), which was not previously normal, is now gradually improving.
"Alhamdulillah, my mother's HB (hemoglobin) has increased, her blood pressure has also gradually returned to normal. The condition of her lungs was also the last time she was examined, it was getting better than before," said Nina.
The response given by Nani Wijaya when invited to communicate also shows developments compared to last week. Currently, the 78-year-old actress can open her eyes and move her hand.
"If we invite communication, there will be a response from the movement of his fingers. Mother can also open her eyes, thank God," said the child.
However, Nina said that her mother could not be visited by just anyone. So far, only families can meet Nani Wijaya in person.
For information, Nani Wijaya was rushed to Fatmawati Hospital on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in the morning after experiencing shortness of breath.
Several colleagues from Nani Wijaya from among artists have visited RDUP Fatmawati, but have not been able to meet in person because the senior actress is still in intensive care.
