Hammersonic 2023 Will Be Visited By Metalhead Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, And India

JAKARTA - The 2023 Hammersonic rock music festival will be held at Carnaval Beach Ancol, Jakarta, on March 18-19. Ravel Entertainment as the organizer targets the number of spectators to be around 30-35 thousand people.

In addition to domestic audiences, representatives from the Hammersonic Festival 2023 Dede Rianta said the rock music festival is also in demand by metalheads and rockheads from abroad such as Singapore to India.

"From the audience, of course, our expectations are around 30 thousand to 35 thousand. And the tickets sold are around 25 thousand tickets," said the man who is familiarly called Deri at a press conference in Helen's Bar, Jakarta, Monday.

"Because Singapore and the Philippines cancel (Slipknot canceled their appearance in Singapore and the Philippines), we have a lot of spectators from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, even to India," he continued.

The eardrum 'broker' music festival was supposed to be held on 27-28 March 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event schedule then resigned and was postponed again in 2021 and 2022.

In 2019, organizers had sold Hammersonic Festival tickets at prices starting at IDR 750,000. Currently, metal and rock music fans who don't have tickets can still buy them through the official Hammersonic website for IDR 2,650,000, including taxes for two festival days.

"The rest (of the tickets that have not been sold) are at least around 10 thousand. Therefore, we are still opening box tickets until now," said Deri.

For spectators who have purchased tickets in 2019, Deri said that ticket exchanges can be made directly at the venue and only need to bring vouchers and ID cards. In addition, merchandise will also be distributed when exchanging tickets.
