Ganjar Pranowo Shares Tips When Interacting With Social Media To Avoid Hoaxes

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo advised students at SMAN 1 Kudus to get used to ensuring the truth or clarifying the news before it is distributed. Ganjar said students are familiar with social media and technology, so they must be more careful and careful.

This was conveyed by Ganjar after attending the Talkshow "Governor of Sambang Sekolah" with the theme "Generation of Smart Pancasila Forts with Culture and Anti Hoax Consistent Media at SMA Negeri 1 Kudus," Friday, March 3.

There was a roar of the voices of the students of SMAN 1 Kudus welcoming the arrival of the Governor of Central Java for two periods that they had been waiting for since morning. Ganjar was even greeted with a koreo of respect from the school Paskibra and the performance of the dance displayed by the students.

"It's been a long time since I went to school, so the children seem enthusiastic. He can show all his talent, we order how he goes to school and also develop talent," said Ganjar Pranowo.

The former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives said that schools are not limited to students just to demand science. However, schools must be a place to hang out and develop talent.

"So there are those who are good at singing, pinning, being good at sports, so that teachers also know how this child is prepared for a better future," he said.

On the other hand, students also have challenges in the development of technology and social media. Students must be careful so they are not exposed to hoaxes.

"On average they have social media, they have a WA group, be careful with hoaxes, don't spread it. Get used to clarifying, get used to tabayyun, get used to asking questions and I advise you not to bully friends, this must be maintained," said Ganjar.

The chairman of PP Kagama hopes that students will also take care of each other and friends. He is concerned because in the past few days there have been cases of violence to bullying that have caused victims of students.

"Students are educated not to be encouraged like that, so I ask that this does not happen again. So it must be educated in the right way, they become tolerant children, they have high human values, as stated by the children earlier," said Ganjar Pranowo.
