TANGERANG - Police arrested SR (22), a project worker who killed N alias I in a hut that was used as a food stall on Pasir Randu Street, Curug, Tangerang Regency. At the time of the arrest, the police opened fire because SR tried to escape. After being paralyzed, the police took SR to the South Tangerang Police (Tangsel).
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Tangerang Police, AKP Aldo Primananda Putra, told reporters, Wednesday, March 1, that the murder incident began with the perpetrator's heartache towards the victim. On that basis, the perpetrator planned a murder by entering the rice shop, which was also used as the victim's residence.
Then, continued Aldo, SR entered through the back door by cutting the window wire of the food stall. However, the perpetrator's action was known by the victim SM. The perpetrator panicked and attacked SM with a folding knife.
"So the suspect was hurt because the suspect was always behind (expelled-ed) and then suppressed. The initial intention was to take the victim's belongings, money and cellphones were taken but the victim woke up quickly," he said.
At that time, the victim SM screamed and had fallen, causing I to wake up from his sleep. Then the perpetrator then came back to victim I until he threw a stab blindly.
"Furthermore, the suspect went to the back room and stabbed victim I ten times on the victim's body until the victim died," he said.
The perpetrator is suspected of Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 of the Criminal Code and or Article 351 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code in the form of premeditated murder with the threat of the death penalty.
It is known that the murder took place on Pasir Randu Street, Curug, Aangerang Regency, Wednesday morning, March 1, at 02.30 WIB. One person died and two others were injured.
