Like A Ping Pong Ball, Bharada E Is Now Being Moved To Bareskrim Detention Center From Salemba

JAKARTA - Convict Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E was transferred from the Salemba Penitentiary (Lapas) to the Bareskrim Polri Detention Center (Rutan) to serve his sentence. The transfer was based on a recommendation from the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK).

"Furthermore, as of today, a resident of the Salemba Class II Lapas on behalf of Richard Eliezer will then carry out his sentence at the Bareskrim Detention Center," said the Coordinator of Public Relations and Protocol of the Directorate General of Corrections, Kemenkumham, Rika Aprianti, to journalists, Monday, February 27.

"With LPSK supervision or assistance, we will continue to communicate because the status is indeed entrusted," she continued.

Bharada E's transfer is like a game of ping pong ball. Because, from the start, Ferdy Sambo's ex-adjutant was detained at the Bareskrim Detention Center.

Bharada E was then transferred to the Salemba Prison after being sentenced to 1.5 years in prison, which has permanent legal force.

However, only a few hours passed, Bharada E was again transferred to the Criminal Investigation Detention Center.

It has not been clearly explained about the reason behind Bharada E's transfer from the Salemba Prison to the Criminal Investigation Detention Center. Rika only said that the decision was based on a recommendation from the LPSK.

"Based on the request or recommendation of the LPSK addressed to the Directorate General of Corrections, then the Director General of disposition to the regional office related to Eliezer's placement to serve his sentence at the Criminal Investigation Detention Center," said Rika.

For information, the 1.5-year prison sentence for Bharada E has been signed or has permanent legal force. This is because Eliezer and the public prosecutor's team decided not to appeal.

Then, at the trial of the National Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP), it was decided that Bharada would remain part of the Bhayangkara Corps. However, the assembly also decided to impose sanctions in the form of demotion for one year.
