Tommy's Victory Over Jake Paul Instead Gave A Big Loss To K Tyson

JAKARTA - Tommy Fury won controversially over Jake Paul in a fight in Saudi Arabia, Monday, February 27. This victory turned out to be a big loss for his older brother, Tyson Fury.

The WBC heavyweight world champion reportedly lost a large bet, namely 100 thousand pounds or Rp1.8 billion.

He was betting Tommy would win a knockout. Unfortunately, his guess missed.

"It was a brilliant, very entertaining fight. I am very proud of Tommy. It's as big as any world title I've ever seen," Fury told BT Sport Boxing.

"I think Tommy hit him on the head sometimes, and won 90 percent of the round. Jake Paul is better than I thought, to be fair."

"It looks like Drake lost his money! But let me tell you a secret - I also lost mine. I bet on KO. We're both losers!" he continued.

In a duel at the Diriyah Arena, Saudi Arabia, on Monday, February 27 morning WIB, Tommy Fury defeated Jake Paul by winning a narrow number with a score of 76-73, 76-73, and 74-75. This victory is Tommy's ninth victory while confirming the record without losing.

In addition to successfully bringing a big win to the bet, Tommy Furry's victory clearly made his brother feel proud.

"He's here for millions of pounds on the world's biggest stage at any age, 23 years, a newborn baby... He has everything," Tyson said of his younger brother's success, to Queensberry Promotions quoted by bjpenn.com.

"I am very proud of what he has done and that is why we are all here. Everyone has come to support him in his conquest of Jake Paul."

Tommy Fury was the first official boxer Jake Paul faced in the ring. Prior to this, most of Jake Paul's boxing fights were fought against MMA veterans.
