Reflecting On The TURN Of Private Companies Died While On Duty, Entrepreneurs Asked To Protect Workers With BPJS Employment
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan appealed to all employers and non-wage earners to register in the social protection program.

"We ask all employers and workers, both beneficiaries, not beneficiaries, non-state civil servants, construction service workers and Indonesian migrant workers to protect themselves from socio-economic risks that can occur anytime and anywhere by becoming BP Jamsostek (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) participants," he said in Tangerang, Friday, February 24, confiscated by Antara.
He also expressed his deepest condolences for the death of the courier who turned out to be an active participant in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan since August 2020. A number of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan responsibilities were given to the family concerned.
"BP Jamsostek is obliged to pay compensation for the benefits of the JKK program which is Yuslan's right because he has been registered," he said.
Some time ago it went viral for a courier who died while on duty to deliver the package. The 42-year-old man is known as Yuslan Susilo, who is a private employee on duty as a courier with the active membership status of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan since August 2020.
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan handed over heirs' rights in the form of employment social security benefits worth a total of Rp422 million. This benefit consists of compensation for death due to work accidents of 48 times the reported wages, pension guarantees given in a Lumpum manner, all Old Age Security balances belonging to participants and scholarships for 2 children from kindergarten to college.
