PKS Official Declaration Anies Baswedan As A Presidential Candidate For 2024

JAKARTA - The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) has officially declared Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate (Capres) 2024. This declaration is the result of the decision of the PKS Syuro VIII Council deliberation which was held at the PKS DPP Office, Jakarta, Thursday, February 23. The PKS president gave a cap as a symbol of the mandate to Anies Baswedan to run for the 2024 presidential election. PKS also lowered the curtain as the official symbol of PKS support for Anies. After the curtain was opened, Billboard was big with Anies Baswedan wearing a Koko shirt and a cap with his hand pinned greetings was displayed. On the Billboard, the PKS serial number was also written as a participant in the 2024 General Election, namely number 8.

Anies also received his candidacy as Presidential Candidate 2024 mandated by the Syuro Council and the PKS DPP. "We feel very honored to officially accept the candidacy for the 2024-2029 Indonesian Presidential Candidate from PKS," Anies said in his speech. "This is a big mandate that we will carry. Bismillah, God willing, this journey will be a journey that God will bless," he concluded.
