Hebi Marapu Continues To Care For Yourself

JAKARTA - Boxer from Indonesia, Hebi Marapu, will have a fight in Bangkok Thailand, March 4. He will face the host boxer, Phissannu Chimsunthom, at the Hotel Ambassador.

Hebi will defend the WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental lightweight belt as well as fight for the vacant Intercontinental IBA title. He will play in the main party.

Currently Hebi Marapu is undergoing final preparations. He continued training in the White Elephant Country.

Hebi has been in Thailand since last Saturday, February 18. He trained at the Singmasanak Muaythai School owned by former WBC world champion Sirimongkhon Lamthuam.

Ahead of the fight, Hebi will conduct a series of matches against Thai boxers consisting of young boxers and former professionals.

The candidate for the match has been selected by Head Coach David John Treharne.

"We have completed an important part of the preparations in Indonesia and will undergo an intense week while practicing at Sirimongkhon's gym," said David, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, February 21.

"I have arranged a match-training party for Hebi against several young boxers and former Thai professional boxers," he continued.

The Canadian coach also said his team was ready. Later, the intensity of training will be reduced in order to keep the boxer from getting injured.
