The Trailer For The Film Losmen Melati Presents A Horror Story

JAKARTA - Losmen Melati became one of the horror titles that enlivened the Indonesian film industry at the beginning of the year. Monday, February 20, Infinite Studios and Catchplay launched the first trailer along with the poster.

As the title implies, this trailer shows mysterious things that occur when entering Melati's inn (Alexandra Gottardo). Visitors will face their biggest nightmare and are invisible.

Losmen Melati tells of a remote inn that is hidden and managed by Melati. He manages to lure visitors and makes them interested in staying there. But behind the cap, the visitors are trapped there and never seen.

On the other hand is Golok (Samuel Panjaitan), the inn keeper who is also Melati's relative. He welcomed the guests who wanted to stay.

In addition there is Dr. Kusno (Kiki Narendra), a doctor who does not believe in tahayul and mystical things. One day, he was asked by the patient to be treated in the inn so that Kusno faced Melati.

"In Indonesia, we are challenged to make something quality. This is the first time we have made a film in Indonesia, so we make sure to choose a production house that can bring this quality," said Dhini from Catchplay.

Losmen Melati is a different horror film, which is equipped with drama, science, thriller. This film is not a story that is presented in a moment of understanding alone. But with the main characters I play, Madam Melati, this film is packaged with a good meaning and a million mysteries in it," explained Alexandra Gottardo.

In addition to the three, this film also stars Dwi Sasono, Fandy Christian, Samuel Panjaitan, Kinaryosih and Jordan Omar.

Directed by Billy Christian and Mike Wiluan, both of them wanted to bring local elements in the film Losmen Melati.

What distinguishes Melati is that she wears Indonesian clothes and we want to include those who relate here. So we research elements from horror like what we present here. With all these details, I hope this can be something that many viewers enjoy," said Billy Christian.

The film Losmen Melati can be enjoyed starting March 16, 2023 in theaters.
