Jokowi Chooses The Head Of The Bali Provincial BPK Joko Agus Setyono To Be The Regional Secretary Of DKI
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo has chosen one candidate who has been appointed as the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of DKI Jakarta with a definitive position. He is Joko Agus Setyono.When participating in the selection process for the DKI Regional Secretary, Joko was the Head of the Bali Province Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Representative. Previously, Joko had developed a position as Head of BPK for East Java Province.This is stated in Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 13/TPA of 2023 concerning the Appointment of Middle High Leadership Officials within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) which was signed by Jokowi on February 13, 2023."To appoint Mr. Joko Agus Setyono SE, MM, Ak, CA, CSFA, CPA, NIP 196812111996031004, Madya Main Trustees (IV/d), as Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province, starting from the time of inauguration and giving him the allowance for echelon Ib structural positions, according to the laws and regulations," the presidential decree wrote, quoted on Tuesday, February 14.When elected, Joko canceled two other candidates for the selection of the DKI Regional Secretary who also passed a number of selection stages, namely Dhany Sukma who is currently the Mayor of Central Jakarta, and Michael Rolandi Cesnanta Brata who is currently the Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Asset Management Agency.The three names have passed the administrative selection stages, field competency tests, managerial and sociocultural tests, to interviews with the selection committee.Based on Article 114 Paragraph 5 of Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning State Civil Apparatus (ASN), it is stated that the President chooses one of the three names of candidates to be appointed as middle high leadership officials.After this, Joko will be inaugurated by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono as the inauguration of his position as DKI Regional Secretary replacing Marullah Matali who now serves as Deputy Governor of DKI.
