Polemic Of Calling Players To The National Team, Bambang Nurdiansyah: Not Elok, Can Talk Good
JAKARTA - Former Indonesian national team coach, Bambang Nurdiansyah, commented on the polemic of player summons that is currently hitting Shin Tae-yong's squad. There is a club that finds it difficult to release players to join the training camp (TC) ahead of the U-20 Asian Cup.
This situation even made Persija, Thomas Doll, and Shin Tae-yong coaches sindir each other. Shin was disappointed with the attitude of Thomas Doll who did not want to release Persija Jakarta players to the U-20 national team TC.
Bambang Nurdiansyah said the situation could still be brokered. The struggle between the coach of the local club and the national team was deemed not a good attitude.
"That (about players) can actually be discussed carefully. I don't think it's a problem. There is still a middle ground," said Bambang Nurdiansyah when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta on Monday, February 13.
"Talk. The Persija coach finally apologized. That's not the case with the coach. In Europe there is no fight for it. You have to respect each other," he continued.
Previously, it was known that Persija had not released four of the nine players that Shin Tae-yong asked for the U-20 national team. The four players in question are Alfriyanto Nico, Cahya Supriadi, Doni Tri Pamungkas, and Muhammad Ferarri.
The reason is that Persija still needs its fourth energy. Doll feels lost a lot of strength if nine players are released for the long-term TC.
However, recently the polemic over the race has melted, Persija players are also said to have immediately joined the national team for TC. This was mentioned by the Menpora, Zainudin Amali on an agenda at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Central Jakarta.
"I heard that (the player joined the U-20 national team), the last one was Persija, said coach Indra Sjafri already there, there was no problem," said the Menpora on a separate occasion.
