KUR Zero Percent For Micro Entrepreneurs Already Get Green Light From Jokowi
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir proposed a reduction in loan interest for ultra micro business actors. Where, he asked for the loan interest to decrease even to zero percent.
He also admitted that he would encourage the proposal for a zero percent interest for ultra micro business actors to become a reality.
"It's just a matter of how we can push it into reality, don't get the impression that (big companies) get flowers much cheaper than the ultra-micro ones," he said at a working meeting (raker) with Commission V DPR RI, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, February 13.
Erick admitted that the proposed reduction in loan interest for ultra-micro business actors had been submitted directly to the Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Perry Warjiyo.
In fact, continued Erick, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has also given the green light regarding this proposal.
"I have conveyed that the Governor of BI, this has received direct support from the government. Especially the President, because there is an estimate," he explained.
For your information, Erick previously said that SOEs ensured that micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and ultra-micro businesses received appropriate and mentoring financing.
As for the ultra micro, the Ministry of SOEs has formed an Ultra Micro BUMN Holding where PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is the parent company.
Meanwhile, members of the holding are PT Pegadaian and PT Permodalan Madani (PNM). This holding has been formed since September 2021.
