Google Asks Parents To Pay Attention To Apps Used By Children

Ask them what apps they use, what they like about the app, and how they protect themselves when using the app.

Remember privacy

Privacy and security are interconnected, you can't have privacy without security. You have to teach the younger generation how to protect yourself from all threats of privacy and security.

As a company's effort to maintain the safety of child users on its platform, Google has also launched a SafeSearch filtering feature, which serves to blur explicit content in Google searches automatically.

SafeSearch filtering has been enabled by default for users who are under 18 years old.

This setting will be a new default for people who haven't enabled the SafeSearch filter, with the option to adjust the settings at any time.
