Inspired In The Book, Suara Kayu After The Song Kumu Bergi You Go Today
JAKARTA - Duo Suara Kayu presents their new work titled Kumu Kau Go Today inspired by a book of the same name written by Rio Ardhillah.
The pop easy listening genre song tells the story of the fear of someone who is undergoing a romantic relationship.
With poetic lyrics, this song seems to be a reflection of a partner who is confused and questions the ability to release loved ones.
A fear of whether to keep going or stop at a point, until finally I can forget everything that has happened and start for a new life," said Suara Kayu member Ingrid Tamara telling the core of her new song, quoted from Antara, Friday.
Another personnel, Dewangga, also added the sad atmosphere by singing Kumu Bergi You Go Today.
The guitar pet at the beginning of the five-minute song made this work even more melancholic.
All of this was perfected by Suara Kayu as a writer who was supported by producer David Elsandro.
Still maintaining the characteristics of Suara Kayu whose work is easy to digest, the hope is that the song and the book "Ku Ku Putting You Go Today" can be warmly accepted by the Indonesian people.
Kubih Kau Pergi Hari Ini sudah dapat dinikmati di seluruh digital streaming platforms yang ada di Tanah Air mulai hari ini.
Along with the release of the song, there was also an official lyric video presented on Suara Kayu's YouTube channel.
Previously, Suara Kayu began to actively work in the Indonesian music world since 2020.
Within two years, they were actively producing works that even occupied several charts such as "Top 50 Viral" on Spotify thanks to Miniatur and the "Viral 50 Indonesia" chart for their work with Feby Putri "Go Home".
The collaboration with several other musicians was also carried out by Suara Kayu, including with Fiersa Besari with No mention of Senja and Rindu Drugs with Malaysian musicians Kucaimars.
