Pertamina's LNG Business, Nusantara Regas Notes Revenue Of 346.16 Million US Dollars In 2022
JAKARTA - Pertamina Gas Subholding in the management of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) business, PT Nusantara Regas (NR) throughout 2022 managed to carry out gas delivery of 86.03 million MMBTU and received revenue of 346.16 million US dollars.
NR President Director Harry Budi Sidharta said, from 2022 revenue, NR received a net profit of US$ 26.06 million (unaudited). This achievement exceeded the KPI 2022 target, namely the KPI target of 101.9 percent.
"This positive performance of NR is supported by the main business in the receipt, storage and regasification of LNG through the Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) in Jakarta Bay and Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF) Muara Karang, Jakarta," he said in a statement to the media, Friday, February 10.
This gas is intended for 60 percent of the energy needs of PLN's power plants in the Jakarta and West Java regions.
"We are grateful that in 2022 NR's achievement exceeds the KPI target. NR is committed to always being ready to contribute and reliable in the future to fulfill energy," he continued.
On the same occasion, Harry also explained NR's 2023 work plan to the Board of Commissioners and all Nusantara Regas workers
Harry revealed that in 2023, NR plans to realize the development of new businesses in the Jakarta, West Java and Papua regions while still realizing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). The business expansion effort is aimed at supporting the fulfillment of natural gas energy needs in Indonesia.
The Board of Commissioners also conveyed its commitment to continue to support NR's business development.
"One of the keys to a sustainable business is to build good relations with stakeholders, innovate on business business schemes so as to create new opportunities for business sustainability," said NR President Commissioner Heru Setiawan.
