Sandiaga Uno In An Effort To Stabilize The Aircraft Ticket Price
Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno revealed the efforts made to stabilize the ticket price, through coordination with the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) to increase the number of flights and the availability of airplane seats.
"The president has given direction to me and the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) to increase the number of flights and the availability of seats with airlines ready for China, especially and India, which is a very potential opportunity," he said after attending a Coordination Meeting with the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday 9 February.
In addition, he continued, there was a study on the price of Avtur fuel, which is a component related to the significant ticket price, which will later be reported to SOE Minister Erick Thohir.
Sandiaga emphasized that his party is focused on trying to make Avtur fuel competitive. Therefore, through the addition of flights and the availability of seats, it is hoped that it will contribute so that ticket prices gradually fall.
Launching One Solution Pertamina data, the price of Avtur fuel for domestic routes at Soekarno Hatta Airport (CGK) for the period 1-14 February 2023 fell to IDR 14,947.59 per liter for domestic flights and 88.9 cents/liter for international flights.
Meanwhile, for the previous period, namely on January 15-31, 2023, the price was at IDR 15,136.8 per liter for domestic flights and 88.2 cents/liter for international flights.
Previously it was reported, Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno said the price of flight tickets was influenced by three things, namely the loading factor for passengers or load factor, the availability of aircraft, to the price of Avtur.
