The head of the Food Task Force Subdivision, Kombes Iksyanto Bagus Pramono, explained that the stock of oil and gas found had not been distributed, because it had not yet entered the delivery schedule.

"No, not hoarding. The stock has not been distributed, because they have time to release it," he said after reviewing rice market operations in modern retailer Hypermart Puri Indah, Kembangan, West Jakarta, Wednesday, February 8.

Therefore, said Iksyanto, his party has asked the company to immediately distribute the Oil. Especially, he said, to West Java and Central Java.

"Now it is accelerated to be issued according to the orders of the Minister (Trafficking), to West Java and Central Java. To the markets," he said.

Ikhayanto said, distribution will be carried out directly as much as found at the location. In particular, there is a shortage followed by an increase in cooking oil prices.

Meanwhile, the selling price of Oilita itself is in accordance with the government's regulation, the highest retail price (HET) is a maximum of Rp. 14,000 per liter.

"Immediately, so that the goods are not scarce," he said.

"Of course there will be a Task Force that will handle this, the important thing is that the Task Force will take care of the problem," he told reporters, Tuesday, February 7.

Based on these findings, Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan asked business actors who produce and trade oil to comply with laws and regulations related to the governance of the people's cooking oil program as regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Trade Number 49 of 2022.
