Get Ready, Pertamina To Implement 3 Kg LPG Purchases Using ID Cards In Java, Bali And NTB This Year
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga as the Commercial & Trading Subholding of PT Pertamina (Persero) targets to enforce the purchase of 3 kg LPG using an Identity Card (KTP) in the Java and Bali regions this year.
Development Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Harsono Budi Santoso, revealed that control of the 3 kg subsidized LPG or public service obligation (PSO) has been carried out using a system connected to P3KE data (Targeting the Acceleration of Extreme Poverty Elimination).
The matching of the consumer's KTP NIK with the P3KE database from deciles 1-7 has been submitted by the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK) to Pertamina Patra Niaga.
"The MyPertamina system has started to be connected, and we have gained access to the P3KE database from deciles 1-7," said Harsono in a hearing with Commission VII DPR RI, Tuesday, February 7.
From these data, continued Harsono, Pertamina Patra Niaga had succeeded in identifying 47 million households or 170 million NIK.
"The roadmap itself is in the second stage in Java, Bali and NTB in 2023," concluded Harsono.
It is known, in the first phase of the trial, Pertamina has conducted a trial in Cipondoh District, Tangerang City; Ciputat District, South Tangerang City; Ngaliyan District, Semarang City; Batu Ampar District, Batam City; and Mataram District, Mataram City.

As previously reported, during the trial period there were no restrictions on purchasing LPG for the public.
Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Irto Ginting said that people can still buy 3 kg of LPG at stalls and retailers.
"Currently we are still conducting trials in five sub-districts. In those five sub-districts there are also sales at stalls," Irto told VOI, Tuesday, January 17.
