Gresini Racing MotoGP Drivers See The Many Motor Users In Jakarta: It Feels Beautiful And Different

JAKARTA - Alex Maruez and Fabio Di Gianntonio returned to greet MotoGP fans in Indonesia. They were present in Jakarta to participate in a series of agendas for the Gresini Racing team with sponsors.

This is not the first time Fabio Di Giananntonio and Alex Marquez have visited Indonesia. Both claimed to have a special impression of the support of fans in Indonesia.

"I have visited Indonesia several times and can always feel the support of the fans here," said Di Giananntonio, as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, February 7.

Furthermore, the Italian racer added, one of the things he likes the most from Indonesia is the large number of motorcycle riders who enliven the streets, especially in Jakarta.

"It's beautiful to see so many motorbike riders on the road. It feels so different (with other countries) and I think they are riders who are no less great!" said Di Giananntonio with a smile and a thumbs up.

Meanwhile, Alex Marquez said, he felt well received by Indonesian fans. The large number of motorcycle racing fans in Indonesia has always been a memorable thing for him.

"I'm always happy to be back in Indonesia. Everyone is very welcome and we are happy with the fans who welcomed us in a friendly and open manner," said the younger brother of Marc Marquez.

Both agreed that fan support felt special and important for the team to navigate the 2023 season. For Marquez, who is the new driver of Gresini, this year is an important year.

"This is a great moment with Gresini and I can't wait to immediately try our new bike in Sepang, considering this season will be an important season for us. So, the preparation must be done," said Marquez.

Agreeing, Di Giananntonio said he was optimistic that he could give the best for the team this year.

"A lot of experience and lessons can be learned from last season and can be learned for this season in order to make good progress. This season will also be a big step for me," he added.
