Former Unqualified Investigators Of TWK Puji Deputy Chairperson Of The KPK Talks About Promises Only Known To Lukas Enembe And Firli Bahuri

JAKARTA - Former KPK investigator Yudi Purnomo Harahap appreciated the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nawawi Pomolango, who dared to reveal 'there were whispers of promises' to the inactive governor of Papua Lukas Enembe. The promise is only known by KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri

Firli is known to have been with the KPK entourage to check the condition of Lukas in Jayapura, Papua on Thursday, November 3. At that time, Firli allegedly promised to the suspect in the bribery case for infrastructure development projects in Papua.

"I salute Mr. Nawawi who dared to speak up with Firli Bahuri's current behavior," said Yudi, who is also the former chairman of the KPK Employee Forum on his Twitter, @yudiharahap46, Friday, February 3.

According to Yudi, the KPK leadership must act in the corridor. At the KPK, collegial collectives are upheld so that the leaders work together and cannot make decisions unilaterally.

"KPK leadership is a collegial collective, every leader cannot do what he wants, every action must be conveyed and other leaders know," he said.

Previously, Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nawawi Pomolango, said that no one knew about the promise of KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri who was whispered to the inactive Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe.

"Pak Firli just knows what the promise was made to the suspect," Nawawi told VOI, Thursday, February 2.

This, said Nawawi, could be a reminder that as a KPK leader who acts collectively collegially, he should not work alone. "This should be a warning for us to avoid work styles that tend to be one man show," he said.

Even so, Nawawi asked his investigators to remain focused on handling the case that ensnared Lukas. They should not be influenced by various issues from the inactive governor's camp. "Investigators need not be influenced by such things," he stressed. The KPK also responded by ensuring that Firli did not make any promises to Lukas Enembe. The KPK claims it is impossible for one leader to make his own decisions in an effort to take action.

"We need to clarify this, the meeting in Papua at the suspect's residence was carried out openly. The KPK itself and LE were present," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Thursday, February 2.
