JAKARTA - The Boys Planet competition just started on Thursday, February 2 yesterday. However, the latest news came from one of the contestants and trainees from Woollim Entertainment, Jang Min Seo.

His agency, Woollim, stated that Jang Min Seo resigned from the Boys Planet event. This is due to the knee pain experienced by the trainee being very severe.

Hello. This is Woollim Entertainment. We made a statement regarding Jang Min Seo who participated in the audition program for Mnet, Boys Planet and left this event," the agency said today, Friday, February 3.

"Due to increasingly severe knee pain, which he experienced before the program, our trainee Jang Min Seo expressed his desire to step down from the program," he continued.

"After in-depth discussions, we respect Jang Min Seo's decision and allow him to leave the show. We will support our trainee so that he can recover his health," Woollim Entertainment concluded.

Boys Planet is a male version of Girls Planet 999 program. This program provides an opportunity for trainees to compete and debut through project groups formed by Mnet. This event can be attended by various trainees, both those who join the agency and not.
