Polo Air Will Be Matched At The 2023 Dash Aquatic Challenge
JAKARTA - The aquatic sports competition BTN Dash Aquatic Challenge will be held again on February 12. This event will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta Aquatic Stadium.
At the previous event which was held in December 2022, the public's enthusiasm for participating was fairly high. That's what made the organizers again hold this activity even though the implementation time was fairly close.
"Departing from BTN Dash Aquatic Challenge, which we held late last year, this exciting sports and entertainment event and fun managed to achieve positive response and high enthusiasm from the community, so we held this event again in early 2023," said CEO of Dash Sports Alit Aryaguna at a press conference in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Thursday, February 2.
However, something is different. This time the Dash Aquatic Challenge did not hold a qua bike competition. This time the organizers held a mini water polo or mini water polo competition.
Another change is the age category for aquathlon and swipe challenge. In aquathlon, there are junior categories aged 12-16 years, senior ages 17-39 years, and masters over 40 years.
While the swimming challenge is now intended for participants over 15 years old. The competition numbers to be competed are 50 meters butterfly, 50 meters backstroke, 50 meters breaststroke, and 50 meters freestyle.
"If yesterday's event was for introduction or coaching, now it is more of an achievement," said Alit.
The Dash Aquatic Challenge 2023 is a series of BTN Sport Fest 2023 which was held to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of BTN which falls on February 9.
Sport Fest 2023 will also hold a race in the 3x3 running and basketball. This sport was chosen because it has a very large mass.
"So this is to increase awareness. This is purely a business. Activities will be more for the family because it is in accordance with our tagline," said BTN's Head of Marketing Communications Division and Digital Channel Division, Ramon Armando.
According to Ramon, running or swimming activities can attract large crowds. He predicts, there will be around 15 thousand people in the upcoming Sport Fest 2023 activities.
