President Jokowi OFFicialized The Singaraja-Mengwitani City Boundary Road, Built On A Budget Of IDR 396.7 Billion
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo inaugurated the Singaraja-Mengitani City Boundary Road, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province, today. The inauguration was marked by the signing of an inscription by the Head of State.The Singaraja-Mengitani City Boundary Road has a length of 5.68 km built since 2018 at a cost of Rp396.7 billion, according to data from the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR).The inauguration of the road is expected to provide real benefits for the surrounding community, including reducing the distance to 0.87 km, reducing travel time by up to 45 minutes, and reducing the number of bends from the previous 50 points to 9 points.In addition, this shortcut will also reduce the level of slope to a maximum of 6 percent.Previously, the maximum level of sloping on the existing road for the Mengwitani-Singaraja Road section was 27 percent.Also accompanying the President in the inauguration were Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana, Bali Governor I Wayan Koster, Acting Regent of Buleleng Ketut Lihadnyana, and Head of the East Java-Bali National Road Implementation Center Apri Artoto.
