Dani Alves' Household In Ujung Tanduk, His Wife Joana Sanz Sues For Divorce

JAKARTA - Dani Alves' wife, Joana Sanz, filed for divorce when her husband was caught in a sexual harassment case.

29-year-old Joana has deleted most of her photos with her husband on Instagram. That was done by Joana after Alves confessed allegations of sexual harassment against a woman.

The Spanish model shared his sadness after Dani Alves was detained in Barcelona. Moreover, the incident was only a few days after his mother died.

Sources said after the incident, Joana spoke to her lawyer that she wanted a divorce. Joana's manager, Silvia Bosch responded to the news and told her client's condition.

"Joana has not commented on anything and will continue to be like that," Bosch said as quoted by The Sun on Wednesday, February 1.

On the day of Dani Alves' arrest, Joana said he had lost "two pillars in my life". But a few hours before Alves was arrested, Joana had uploaded a photo of holding hands with Alves and wrote the message "Together" in English.

Alves was arrested after stumbling over a case of sexual harassment against a 23-year-old woman. The incident occurred at a nightclub in Barcelona, late last December.

When Joana filed for divorce from Alves after this case, Dana Dinorah, who is Alves' ex-wife, was outspoken about defending the player.

"I'm still in shock. I think this is a nightmare and it hasn't happened. Dani will never do this," he said.

"I'm saying this because I've known him for 22 years and married him for 10 years. This shocked me and my children," continued Dana Dinorah.
