Invite Parents To Care More For Children, Ganjar Asks For Issues Of No Panic Response
Central Java (Central Java) Governor Ganjar Pranowo stated that the ranks of the Central Java Provincial Government were serious in responding to the issue of kidnapping children that were rife in the community.
"Yesterday there were also many WAs entering me as if they were serious, but that was also our serious concern. That people can commit criminal acts of kidnapping children, trafficking and we have to care," he said in Semarang, Central Java, Tuesday, January 31, as reported by Antara.
Nevertheless, Ganjar appealed to the public to remain calm and not panic in responding to the issue of rampant child kidnappings and inviting parents to care more and love their children.
"Don't worry the public, that there are kidnappings and so on, report them. Families must take care of their children, love their children," he said.
According to the Head of PP Keluarga Alumni Universitas Gadjah Mada (Kagama), caring and affection are not only for children themselves, but for all children around.
"Anyone, if there is a small child, we must feel that it is our child and all parties have an obligation to protect children," said the PDI-P politician.
The number one person in Central Java has also instructed his staff to activate and socialize contact numbers to make it easier for the public to access reports or complaints related to child kidnapping issues.
"It can also be through an application, but specifically for education to parents," he said.
The Central Java Province Women's Empowerment, Child Protection and Family Planning Service (DP3AKB) has also long opened an information center for assistance to women and children.
