PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri attended the inauguration and oath-taking of the Mayor of Semarang for the remaining 2021-2026 Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu at the Gradhika Bhakti Praja Building, Semarang, today.Megawati, wearing batik clothes, arrived at the inauguration location at 11.45 WIB in a black car with police number B-1936-HFS.After getting out of the vehicle, the Fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia was greeted directly by Mbak Ita, Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu's nickname, and Deputy Governor of Central Java Taj Yasin Maimoen, and Central Java Regional Secretary Sumarno.Mbak Ita was seen holding Megawati's right hand while climbing the stairs to the location of the inauguration and taking the oath of office.PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto was also seen accompanying Megawati Soekarnoputri.In addition, the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, was seen attending the inauguration of the number one person in Semarang City.Mbak Ita, will continue the remaining term of office in 2021-2026 to replace the previous mayor, Hendrar Prihadi, who is currently the Head of the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) as of October 2022.
