Use The Term '5 National Vaccines' Reduction To Intolerated Distribution, This Is An Explanation Of BNPT
JAKARTA - The National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) believes that the five national vaccines initiated by the agency are able to reduce the threat of spreading intolerance, radicalism, and terrorism.
"We call these five vaccines the spread of the virus spread by those carrying the ideology of terrorism," said Head of BNPT Commissioner General (Komjen) Boy Rafli Amar in Jakarta, Monday, January 30, confiscated by Antara.
This was conveyed by the Head of BNPT at the bureaucratic reform workshop with the theme "Strengthen the capacity of bureaucratic reform to create BNPT personnel with integrity, nationalism, professionalism, and commendable in carrying out the task of dealing with effective terrorism".
Boy explained that the five national vaccines are transformation of national insight, revitalization of Pancasila values, religious moderation, preservation of national cultural roots, and finally transformation of welfare development.
The former Papuan Police Chief said the implementation of the five national vaccines could not only be carried out by BNPT alone. Because, in fighting intolerance, radicalism and terrorism requires the cooperation of all parties.
Boy explained that national insight is Indonesia's perspective on seeing yourself by prioritizing unity and integrity. BNPT itself focuses on strengthening it to four national consensus, namely the 1945 Constitution, Pancasila, NKRI and Bineka Tunggal Ika.
"These four national consensus so that we don't forget what the founders of the nation have consensus on," he said, quoted by Antara.
Second, the institution continues to strengthen the values of Pancasila. Especially in this aspect, BNPT considers that it will not overlap with BPIP. The reason is that strengthening Pancasila is the task of all the nation's children.
The third vaccine is religious moderation, which is also considered by BNPT, will not conflict or overlap with the Ministry of Religion. This is because radical groups always use religious narratives. In fact, basically religion to build the morals of the people is not misused or divides unity.
"Let's talk about tolerance in religion," he said.
Next, BNPT continues to strive to promote the preservation of the nation's cultural roots. The goal is that thousands of cultural wealths which are actually national identities remain entrenched, and can fight ideologies that are not in accordance with Pancasila, including about other cultures.
The head of the BNPT, which holds the Datuak Rangkayo Basa tradition, said that he had also written to ministries and institutions to perform more cultural arts, dances, music and so on when holding an activity.
The last vaccine is related to the transformation of welfare development. In this aspect, if the government can maximize it through a national development program, it is believed that there will be no more marginalized people.
The graduate of the 1988 Police Academy (Akpol) saw that the marginal category community was often used or easily influenced by terrorist groups. Therefore, it takes government attention for marginal communities, especially in terms of improving welfare.
